One of greatest reasons why I love being a part of ForSaleByMormon.com is seeing members find one another to either support or benefit from eachother's businesses, whether they be a few miles or thousands of miles apart.
I was one of those lucky members to benefit from a favorite local business in celebration of such fun news! One of my sister in laws, Amy, was able to find a business on ForSaleByMormon.com who would deliver a personalized treat to our family in celebration of the recent ultrasound news that we are expecting a baby boy, our 5th child (we currently have 1 boy, 3 girls). My sister in law lives in Colorado and we live in California. How fun it was to feel that support and love from her and from my brother who live so far away through such a delicious local business!

Hooray for sweet family, treats and of course... chocolate cupcakes!

Lover of Music?

If you are lover of music, have music callings at church, teach or play written music or collect vintage music, there are many great resources for you right now on ForSaleByMormon.com. We'd like to share with you three of our favorites.

Amara Doxey, is a singer/songwriter who is looking for opportunities to share her music & is planning to sell her music in the future. She is very talented and has a fresh sound. Aunt Theresa's Vintage Music is a fabulous resource if you are looking for vintage music and piano music. They're purpose has been to "Bring Back Cherished Memories". They have great low prices on records, CD's, videos, cassettes, Spoken Word, Polka, children & youth music, classical, and piano and organ sheet music, music books and hymnals. They have an ebay store, which you can visit here in addition to the many products that can be purchased directly at ForSaleByMormon.com. We're big fans of music, especially for piano and have found some gems at Aunt Theresa's Vintage Music! Many of their items would be great for family home evening, home schoolers, early childhood development, Christmas, musical instruction, textbooks, etc.

Lastly, we're excited to tell you about a new business on ForSaleByMormon.com that is a wonderful resource if you are serving in a calling or have an interest in choir and finding beautiful arrangements. Copypack Music has religous, seasonal and secular choir arrangements that you can purchase for $6, which includes 3o copies of the arrangment! We are thrilled to announce this next give away! Thur-goodies.com has been one of our Favorites for months. We have personally used their services twice now. They provide a unique service of delivering baked goods hot right out of the oven or other fun treats & edible bouquets to students at BYU or UVU, missionaries at the MTC or loved ones in the Provo/Orem area (they will deliver to other surrounding areas for an increased delivery fee). 40 Chapters in 40 Nights

This program was developed as a summer reading program for the youth in our ward. The premise was that they would feast upon the words of Christ for 40 days straight and then be rewarded with a trip to the beach and a feast. This program has been useful for families and youth who might not otherwise be in the habit of reading daily and gives the youth a common goal to work toward during the summer. To go the extra mile, you can take a video of various youth telling how each chapter applies to their life today. As I announced this program to our ward youth, many adults came seeking the list as well. Click here to view the table with the specific chapters and subjects we highlighted.
