Free Yummy Goodies give away by Thur-goodies.com! *Ends March 4th*

We are thrilled to announce this next give away! Thur-goodies.com has been one of our Favorites for months. We have personally used their services twice now. They provide a unique service of delivering baked goods hot right out of the oven or other fun treats & edible bouquets to students at BYU or UVU, missionaries at the MTC or loved ones in the Provo/Orem area (they will deliver to other surrounding areas for an increased delivery fee). It was very hard to choose but we selected their 2 Loaf Special (jumbo home made white and cinnamon swirl bread which comes with a jar of fresh homemade fruit jam & a tub of butter) both times. Mouth watering yet? We just couldn't resist getting it delivered to our sister Natalie right after she gave birth to her 2nd baby girl and David, who was one of the YM in our ward, who is attending BYU. We wanted to brighten their day & to let them know we were thinking of them. It worked!

40 Chapters in 40 Nights

This program was developed as a summer reading program for the youth in our ward. The premise was that they would feast upon the words of Christ for 40 days straight and then be rewarded with a trip to the beach and a feast. This program has been useful for families and youth who might not otherwise be in the habit of reading daily and gives the youth a common goal to work toward during the summer. To go the extra mile, you can take a video of various youth telling how each chapter applies to their life today. As I announced this program to our ward youth, many adults came seeking the list as well. Click here to view the table with the specific chapters and subjects we highlighted.
